Can it really be 50 years???
The
Northside of Indianapolis is still
my home with small flower gardens
in the front and back. I share the condo with a dear friend who, in spite of her
severe health problems, is good company and helps
pay the bills. We share the
space with two cats who (in the way of cats) think the entire set up is for
their enjoyment!
When
I am not working on the family genealogy, or weeding/watering the gardens, I am
painting. You can see some of my recent work at lauragantner.com. Mark
Rothko, a mid-20th century New York artist has been the source of my
most recent exercises in color and canvas preparation.
My
eldest granddaughter will be a high school senior this year and the youngest
grandson is expected to arrive in early October.
That age span should make for very interesting family gatherings in the
future!!
Because
of medications for a health problem that began last August, I am never certain
when I will be able to drive any distance or not have problems if I am away from
home over night. For those reasons,
I am not planning to attend the reunion.
My e-mail address is indylgantner@yahoo.com
Have a wonderful time on October 2 &3.
