Jim Weber - Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow
(Who Knows!?)

After graduating from Notre Dame with a BBA and 2 years Army duty (courtesy of ROTC) I returned to grad school to earn my MBA from the University of Michigan. Then I was off to seek my fame and fortune in the corporate world of the food industry. Didn’t find too much of either but I had fun along the way….

· General Mills—Sales/Marketing—4 years

· Ralston Purina—Product Management—2 years

· Rich Products Corp.—Divisional Vice President—13 years

· Sara Lee Corp.—Divisional Vice President—10 years

Then, tired of the corporate life, my entrepreneurial spirit kicked in:

· Started my own refrigerated sauce company--sold it after 3 years

· Helped restructure/redirect a small food company in Cincinnati—2 years

· Retired/then “unretired” and bought a small golf course accessory business…which currently keeps me busy. (For the golfers out there, our bronze tee signs, etc. are on courses such as Winged Foot in the East; Medinah , Butler National, and Valhalla in the Midwest; and Spyglass/Cyprus Point in the West).

Family: Married my wife, Ingrid, in 1969. Home is West Chester, Ohio.

Two Daughters:

· Kathleen, single, 30, who lives in Atlanta and works at Home Depot’s HQ

· Jennifer, single, 26, living in Lincoln Park, IL and working for AC Neilsen on the Kraft business.

(Yes, I still have two weddings to pay for but don’t know when!! )

One Dog: Bailey, 2, Cairn terrier…who let’s us live in "his house"!!!

Activities: Sailing (racing and cruising); golf; cross country skiing; my business; family (of course).

Retirement: Naw, I tried that once…it’s overrated! As long as my health holds out I plan on working several more years to build this business. (In other words, until my portfolio recovers!!!)

Favorite Places: Auckland, NZ; London; Carribbean; Hilton Head Is; Sydney; Paris; Frankfort and Cincinnati.

What would I do if I had nothing to do?? Go Crazy!!
